Altering categories of individuals whose deaths would allow an employee to use leave with pay for bereavement leave or whose illness would allow an employee to use leave with pay under a certain provision of law; and authorizing employees to use leave without pay, in accordance with the employer's unpaid leave policy, for certain bereavement leave or leave for the illness of a family member.
