Digest: This Act lets OHCS use LIFT money for prefab homes and makes OHCS hire a contractor to support the prefab home industry. (Flesch Readability Score: 69.1). Allows the Housing and Community Services Department to use Local Innovation and Fast Track Housing Program Fund moneys for factory-built housing. Requires the department to hire a contractor to support the factory-built housing industry. Requires the department to report on outcomes to the interim committees of the Legislative Assembly related to housing by September 15, 2027. Sunsets January 2, 2028. Takes effect on the 91st day following adjournment sine die.
