                                      AN ACT
 1   Amending Title 34 (Game) of the Pennsylvania Consolidated
 2      Statutes, in property and buildings, further providing for
 3      price paid for acquisitions and improvements.
 4      The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
 5   hereby enacts as follows:
 6      Section 1.     Section 705(a) of Title 34 of the Pennsylvania
 7   Consolidated Statutes is amended to read:
 8   § 705.   Price paid for acquisitions and improvements.
 9      (a)   Game lands.--
10            [(1)    Except as provided under paragraph (2), the
11      commission may pay for lands to be used as game lands what it
12      considers a fair and reasonable price not to exceed $400 per
13      acre exclusive of Federal and other cost-sharing funds and
14      consistent with the market value of land in the locality in
15      which the game land is located.]
16            (2)    The commission may pay for lands to be used as game
17      lands [in a county of the second class] what it considers a
18      fair and reasonable price exclusive of Federal and other
1     cost-sharing funds and consistent with the market value of
2     land in the locality in which the game land is located.

4     Section 2.    This act shall take effect immediately.
