                                     AN ACT
 1   Amending Title 16 (Counties) of the Pennsylvania Consolidated
 2      Statutes, in eminent domain and injury to property, further
 3      providing for restrictions as to certain property.
 4      The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
 5   hereby enacts as follows:
 6      Section 1.    Section 16302(a) of Title 16 of the Pennsylvania
 7   Consolidated Statutes, added May 8, 2024 (P.L.50, No.14), is
 8   amended to read:
 9   § 16302.    Restrictions as to certain property.
10      (a)     Prohibition.--Except as provided in subsection (b), land
11   or property used for a cemetery, burying ground or place of
12   public worship, including land not used for a cemetery, burying
13   ground or place of public worship but owned by a cemetery or
14   religious institution, may not be taken or appropriated by
15   virtue of a power contained in this chapter.

17      Section 2.    This act shall take effect in 60 days.
