AN ACT
1 Amending Title 42 (Judiciary and Judicial Procedure) of the
2 Pennsylvania Consolidated Statutes, in bases of jurisdiction
3 and interstate and international procedure, providing for
4 jurisdiction of certain international organizations.
5 The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
6 hereby enacts as follows:
7 Section 1. Subchapter B of Chapter 53 of Title 42 of the
8 Pennsylvania Consolidated Statutes is amended by adding a
9 section to read:
10 § 5329.1. Jurisdiction of certain international organizations.
11 The World Health Organization, United Nations and the World
12 Economic Forum shall have no jurisdiction or power within this
13 Commonwealth. A rule, regulation, fee, tax, policy or mandate of
14 any kind of the World Health Organization, United Nations or the
15 World Economic Forum may not be enforced or implemented by this
16 Commonwealth or any agency, department, board, commission,
17 political subdivision, governmental entity of this Commonwealth,
18 municipality or any other political entity.
1 Section 2. This act shall take effect in 60 days.
