                                      AN ACT
 1   Amending Title 65 (Public Officers) of the Pennsylvania
 2      Consolidated Statutes, in lobbying disclosure, further
 3      providing for definitions and for registration.
 4      The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
 5   hereby enacts as follows:
 6      Section 1.    Section 13A03 of Title 65 of the Pennsylvania
 7   Consolidated Statutes is amended by adding a definition to read:
 8   § 13A03.   Definitions.
 9      The following words and phrases when used in this chapter
10   shall have the meanings given to them in this section unless the
11   context clearly indicates otherwise:

13      "Public official."      As defined in section 1102 (relating to
14   definitions).

16      Section 2.    Section 13A04 of Title 65 is amended by adding a
17   subsection to read:
18   § 13A04.   Registration.

1      (a.1)   Prohibition.--A public official convicted of a felony
2   crime on or after the effective date of this subsection may not
3   register as a lobbyist under this chapter.
4      * * *
5      Section 3.   This act shall take effect in 60 days.
