AN ACT
1 Amending Title 42 (Judiciary and Judicial Procedure) of the
2 Pennsylvania Consolidated Statutes, in sentencing, providing
3 for sentencing for offenses committed while wearing mask.
4 The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
5 hereby enacts as follows:
6 Section 1. Title 42 of the Pennsylvania Consolidated
7 Statutes is amended by adding a section to read:
8 § 9720.9. Sentencing for offenses committed while wearing mask.
9 The Pennsylvania Commission on Sentencing, in accordance with
10 section 2154 (relating to adoption of guidelines for
11 sentencing), shall provide for a sentence enhancement within the
12 Pennsylvania Commission on Sentencing's guidelines for an
13 offense under 18 Pa.C.S. (relating to crimes and offenses) when
14 at the time of the offense the defendant was wearing a mask or
15 other article of clothing or device with intent to conceal or
16 attempt to conceal the defendant's identity.
17 Section 2. This act shall take effect in 60 days.Connected on the graph
