                                     AN ACT
 1   Amending Title 62 (Procurement) of the Pennsylvania Consolidated
 2      Statutes, providing for flags made in America.
 3      The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
 4   hereby enacts as follows:
 5      Section 1.     Title 62 of the Pennsylvania Consolidated
 6   Statutes is amended by adding a chapter to read:
 7                                 CHAPTER 34
 8                              MADE IN AMERICA
 9   Sec.
10   3401.   Definitions.
11   3402.   Flags.
12   § 3401.   Definitions.
13      The following words and phrases when used in this chapter
14   shall have the meanings given to them in this section unless the
15   context clearly indicates otherwise:
16      "Department."     The Department of General Services of the
17   Commonwealth.
 1   § 3402.    Flags.
 2      (a)    Requirement.--After the effective date of this
 3   subsection, a flag of the United States or of Pennsylvania
 4   procured by the department for public display must be:
 5             (1)   produced in the United States; and
 6             (2)   constructed from materials sourced from within the
 7      United States.
 8      (b)    Label.--A flag procured under subsection (a) must
 9   include the words "Made in America" on the flag's identifying
10   label.
11      Section 2.       This act shall take effect in 60 days.
