                                      AN ACT
 1   Amending Title 68 (Real and Personal Property) of the
 2      Pennsylvania Consolidated Statutes, in land banks, further
 3      providing for definitions.
 4      The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
 5   hereby enacts as follows:
 6      Section 1.     The definitions of "land bank jurisdiction" and
 7   "municipality" in section 2103 of Title 68 of the Pennsylvania
 8   Consolidated Statutes are amended to read:
 9   § 2103.    Definitions.
10      The following words and phrases when used in this chapter
11   shall have the meanings given to them in this section unless the
12   context clearly indicates otherwise:

14      "Land bank jurisdiction."
15             (1)   a [county, a city, a borough, a township and an
16      incorporated town with a population of more than 10,000]
17      municipality; or
1          (2)   two or more municipalities [with populations less
2      than 10,000] that enter into an intergovernmental cooperation
3      agreement to establish and maintain a land bank.
4      * * *
5      "Municipality."   A county, city, borough, incorporated town,
6   township [or], home rule municipality, optional plan
7   municipality or optional charter municipality.
8      * * *
9      Section 2.   This act shall take effect in 60 days.
