AN ACT
1 Amending Title 34 (Game) of the Pennsylvania Consolidated
2 Statutes, in hunting and furtaking licenses, further
3 providing for resident license and fee exemptions.
4 The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
5 hereby enacts as follows:
6 Section 1. Section 2706(b)(1) of Title 34 of the
7 Pennsylvania Consolidated Statutes is amended to read:
8 § 2706. Resident license and fee exemptions.

10 (b) Disabled veterans.--
11 (1) Any resident disabled veteran who has a disability
12 incurred in any war or armed conflict which consists of the
13 loss of one or more limbs, or the loss of the use of one or
14 more limbs, or who is 100% disabled as certified by the
15 United States Department of Veterans Affairs, and who meets
16 all other qualifications of this title and is otherwise
17 mentally and physically fit, shall [be issued a free regular
18 hunting or furtaking license], upon application to the
1 commission or a county treasurer[.], be issued any of the
2 following licenses or permits without cost or fee under
3 section 2709(a) (relating to license costs and fees):
4 (i) Regular hunting.
5 (ii) Regular furtaking.
6 (iii) Antlerless deer.
7 (iv) Bear.
8 (v) Archery.
9 (vi) Muzzleloader.
10 (vii) Migratory game bird.
11 (viii) Elk.
12 (ix) Special wild turkey.
13 (x) Pheasant, as provided under 58 Pa. Code §
14 147.317 (relating to permit).

16 Section 2. This act shall take effect in 60 days.
