                                A RESOLUTION
 1   Recognizing the month of June 2025 as "Caribbean-American
 2      Heritage Month."
 3      WHEREAS, In 2006, the President of the United States signed
 4   the first proclamation recognizing June as "Caribbean-American
 5   Heritage Month" in the United States; and
 6      WHEREAS, Our nation thrives from the contributions of
 7   Caribbean Americans, who enrich our society and add to the
 8   strength of our nation; and
 9      WHEREAS, Caribbean Americans have been leaders in government,
10   sports, entertainment, the arts and many other fields; and
11      WHEREAS, Our great Commonwealth thrives from the
12   contributions of Caribbean Americans; and
13      WHEREAS, During the month of June and through the remainder
14   of the year, the residents of Pennsylvania should honor the
15   friendship between our Commonwealth, our nation and the
16   Caribbean countries; and
17      WHEREAS, With common values and history, we celebrate the
1   rich Caribbean heritage and the many contributions of Caribbean
2   Americans; therefore be it
3      RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives recognize the
4   month of June 2025 as "Caribbean-American Heritage Month."
