                               A RESOLUTION
 1   Authorizing the sale of property known as the Clearfield
 2      Location of Commonwealth University, located at 201
 3      University Drive, in the Borough of Clearfield, Clearfield
 4      County.
 5      WHEREAS, On February 12, 2026, the Board of Governors of
 6   Pennsylvania's State System of Higher Education (PASSHE)
 7   approved a request from Commonwealth University of PASSHE to
 8   dispose of the property, subject to notification of and
 9   favorable resolution from the General Assembly; and
10      WHEREAS, The university acquired the property in 2001; and
11      WHEREAS, The university has assessed the physical space as
12   part of financial sustainability planning; and
13      WHEREAS, The facility is not in use and is not required for
14   future university needs; and
15      WHEREAS, The property totals approximately 67.517 acres and
16   consists of two buildings totaling 92,373 square feet; and
17      WHEREAS, One building, Founders Hall, was built in 2001 and
18   is 49,163 square feet, and the second building is the Health
19   Annex and consists of 43,210 square feet; and
 1      WHEREAS, The property is recorded in Clearfield County,
 2   Parcel 1, Deed Instrument Number 200518423, building and 18.459
 3   acres, Parcels 4 and 5, Deed Instrument Number 200319207, 10
 4   acres and 39.058 acres titled to Lock Haven University of
 5   Pennsylvania of the Pennsylvania State System of Higher
 6   Education, now recognized as Commonwealth University, Lock Haven
 7   Campus; therefore be it
 8      RESOLVED, That State System of Higher Education Property
 9   Request No. 1 of 2026, transmitted by the State System of Higher
10   Education under section 2018-A of the act of March 10, 1949
11   (P.L.30, No.14), known as the Public School Code of 1949, to the
12   General Assembly under date of March 12, 2026, be approved by
13   the House of Representatives authorizing the sale of property
14   known as the Clearfield Location of Commonwealth University,
15   located at 201 University Drive, in the Borough of Clearfield,
16   Clearfield County.
