AN ACT
1 Amending Title 65 (Public Officers) of the Pennsylvania
2 Consolidated Statutes, in lobbying disclosure, further
3 providing for prohibited activities.
4 The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
5 hereby enacts as follows:
6 Section 1. Section 13A07(f) of Title 65 of the Pennsylvania
7 Consolidated Statutes is amended by adding a paragraph to read:
8 § 13A07. Prohibited activities.

10 (f) Unlawful acts.--

12 (1.1) A lobbyist may not be appointed, serve or be
13 employed as:
14 (i) A public official or employee of a Commonwealth
15 agency as defined in 2 Pa.C.S. § 101 (relating to
16 definitions).
17 (ii) A public officer or employee of the
18 Commonwealth government as defined in 2 Pa.C.S. § 101.
1 (iii) A member of the Board of Governors of the
2 State System of Higher Education.
3 (iv) A member of the board of trustees of a State-
4 related institution.

6 Section 2. This act shall not apply to a term of
7 appointment, service or employment that commences prior to the
8 effective date of this section.
9 Section 3. This act shall take effect in 60 days.
