                                       AN ACT
 1   Amending Title 25 (Elections) of the Pennsylvania Consolidated
 2      Statutes, in changes in records, further providing for death
 3      of registrant.
 4      The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
 5   hereby enacts as follows:
 6      Section 1.     Section 1505(a) of Title 25 of the Pennsylvania
 7   Consolidated Statutes is amended to read:
 8   § 1505.    Death of registrant.
 9      (a)     Department of Health.--A commission shall cancel the
10   registration of a registered elector reported dead by the
11   Department of Health. The Department of Health shall, within
12   [60] seven days of receiving notice of the death of an
13   individual 18 years of age or older, send the name and address
14   of residence of that individual to a commission in a manner and
15   on a form prescribed by the department. The commission shall
16   promptly update information contained in its registration
17   records.

1     Section 2.    This act shall take effect in 60 days.
