                                     AN ACT
 1   Amending the act of December 19, 1988 (P.L.1262, No.156),
 2      entitled "An act providing for the licensing of eligible
 3      organizations to conduct games of chance, for the licensing
 4      of persons to distribute games of chance, for the
 5      registration of manufacturers of games of chance, and for
 6      suspensions and revocations of licenses and permits;
 7      requiring records; providing for local referendum by
 8      electorate; and prescribing penalties," in games of chance,
 9      providing for online raffles by fire companies.
10      The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
11   hereby enacts as follows:
12      Section 1.    The act of December 19, 1988 (P.L.1262, No.156),
13   known as the Local Option Small Games of Chance Act, is amended
14   by adding a section to read:
15   Section 309.    Online raffles by fire companies.
16      (a)   Online raffles.--A fire company that has a valid small
17   games of chance license issued under section 307 may conduct
18   raffles over the Internet subject to the following:
19            (1)   An individual may purchase a ticket for the raffles
20      only by means of a debit or credit card.
21            (2)   The fire company may not conduct more than two
1      raffles per year under this section.
2      (b)   Expiration.--This section shall expire December 31,
3   2026.
4      Section 2.   This act shall take effect immediately.
