        HUTCHINSON, COSTA, STEFANO AND ARGALL, APRIL 30, 2025

     REFERRED TO JUDICIARY, APRIL 30, 2025


                                    AN ACT
 1   Amending Title 42 (Judiciary and Judicial Procedure) of the
 2      Pennsylvania Consolidated Statutes, in budget and finance,
 3      further providing for expenses.
 4      The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
 5   hereby enacts as follows:
 6      Section 1.    Section 3532 of Title 42 of the Pennsylvania
 7   Consolidated Statutes is amended to read:
 8   § 3532.   Expenses.
 9      The Office of the Court Administrator of Pennsylvania shall
10   pay the annual registration fee of [$200] $400 to the Special
11   Court Judges [of Pennsylvania] Association of Pennsylvania for
12   each magisterial district judge[,] and Philadelphia Municipal
13   Court Judge [and Philadelphia Traffic Court Judge position]
14   authorized as of January 31 of each year. Payment shall be made
15   on the first day of a new fiscal year including July 1, 1988. In
16   addition the Office of the Court Administrator of Pennsylvania
17   shall pay the annual cost for the publishing of a monthly
18   journal containing the update and revision of laws and State
1   Supreme Court rule changes. Except for the funding of the
2   publication of the monthly journal which shall be a direct cost
3   of the Office of the Court Administrator of Pennsylvania, all
4   other funding for the other expenses set forth in this section
5   shall come from the annual appropriation made to the magisterial
6   district judges.
7      Section 2.   This act shall take effect in 60 days.
