                                      AN ACT
 1   Amending Title 75 (Vehicles) of the Pennsylvania Consolidated
 2      Statutes, in taxes for highway maintenance and construction,
 3      providing for suspension of tax.
 4      The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
 5   hereby enacts as follows:
 6      Section 1.    Title 75 of the Pennsylvania Consolidated
 7   Statutes is amended by adding a section to read:
 8   § 9502.1.   Suspension of tax.
 9      Notwithstanding any other provision of law, the taxes imposed
10   under section 9502 (relating to imposition of tax) and collected
11   as provided in section 9004(b) (relating to imposition of tax,
12   exemptions and deductions) shall not be imposed after the
13   effective date of this section.
14      Section 2.    This act shall take effect in 60 days.
