He described the possible inclusion of Saudi Arabia, Qatar and Pakistan as β€œbeyond transformative for the region and world”, calling it β€œa brilliant move by President Trump”. Graham also warned Saudi Arabia and others against rejecting the proposal. β€œTo Saudi Arabia and others: Now is the time to be bold for the future of a new Middle East,” he said. β€œIf you refuse to go down this path as suggested by President Trump, it will have severe repercussions for our future relationships and make this peace proposal unacceptable.” He added that such a refusal β€œwould be seen by history as a major miscalculation”. Graham urged Trump to hold firm in talks with Iran and in pressing regional states to normalise relations with Israel. β€œPresident Trump: Stick to your guns in getting a good deal with Iran,” Graham said. β€œEqually important, stick to your guns in insisting Saudi Arabia and others join the Abraham Accords as part of these negotiations.” Top Menu En Live News Trending Opinion Video Explainers Youtube X Instagram Facebook TikTok Top Countries Algeria Bahrain China Egypt France Germany India Iran Iraq Israel Jordan Kuwait Lebanon Libya Mauritania Morocco Oman Pakistan Palestine Qatar Russia Saudi Arabia Sudan Syria Tunisia Turkey UK United Arab Emirates US Yemen About About us Privacy Terms and conditions Careers Contact us Copyright Β© 2014 - 2026 .
