The NAACP is urging black American athletes to disregard scholarship offers from schools in states that have voted to redistrict their congressional maps or "gerrymandering." The bottom line is this: Our country is so divided politically, nothing makes sense anymore. With each passing day citizens are getting angrier over the economy, including higher gas prices, the war in Iran, the unauthorized demolition of the White House for a billion dollar ballroom, the deportation of immigrants, the failure to release the Epstein Files as well as insane ideas that the same people who stormed our nation's capital on January 6th, 2021, leading to death and destruction, should receive funds from a slush fund as reparation for being mistreated by the previous administration. I could go on and on with things that are controversial and causing this huge split in our country but I think you get the idea. Although I usually don't agree with involving student athletes in political warfare, this idea is one that could very well be effective.
