So, here is the update as of 1:15 pm, today. For Oregon’s Congressional District 4, where we Corvallisites live, two term Democratic Representative Val Hoyle has pulled out a large lead. Corvallisite Melissa Bird had sought to challenge Hoyle from the leftmost part of the party. As stands, Hoyle is at 49,282 votes to Bird’s 12,268. That’s 77.37% to 19.26%.
