The fresh masters arrive on LP in standard black vinyl and special edition blood red marbled vinyl with exclusive 2026 tour edition artwork. The group finished a sold-out month's residency in Las Vegas earlier this year. They also toured India and put out a new single called " Rejoice ." Frontman Joe Elliott revealed the group is recording a new studio album slated for early 2027. "We've got about 17 or 18 songs written; we've actually almost got two albums recorded," said Elliott to France 24 . "So we're still deciding which songs are gonna go on album one, if you like. We're looking at an early '27 release." The musicians developed a new recording method during the COVID-19 pandemic. Members now record remotely from their homes instead of gathering at Elliott's studio. "We don't all record in one room when we are in the same studio; we do it, the drums and the bass and the guitars and the vocals; it's all layered," said Elliott. "So we've been recording while we were in Vegas. On days off, we had the drums set up in the basement of the theater, and Rick (Allen) played loads of drums on his days off." The upcoming album will feature varied material, according to Elliott's chat with Riff X's Metal XS . The record includes the fastest song the group has ever recorded, along with slower tunes with piano. The group will tour the UK and Europe in June and July with special guests Extreme.
