David Brock Smith has won the Republican primary for U.S. Senate in Oregon. He will advance to the November general election to challenge the incumbent, Democratic Sen. Jeff Merkley, who was first elected in 2008. It was the last significant race to be called following Oregon’s May 19 primary.
