Wed, May 20, 2026 One of the Most Exciting Oshkosh Newcomers: the Red Arrows The Royal Air Force’s Demo Team to Debut at the 73rd Oshkosh AirVenture Airshow With the event going on its 73rd year, Oshkosh has already seen just about every kind of flying act imaginable… and yet, 2026 is adding at least one pretty big one to the books. The Royal Air Force Aerobatic Team, better known as the Red Arrows, will make its EAA AirVenture debut this July at the beloved Wittman Regional Airport. The team is scheduled to fly in the afternoon air shows from July 24 through July 26, giving Oshkosh a solid three days of British fast-jet formation work during an already-packed event week celebrating the 250th birthday of America. The visit will also include more than just the flying… even if that is, to many, the best part. EAA says Red Arrows team members will take part in public appearances and ground events during AirVenture week, with the exact schedule still being finalized. “The Red Arrows have long been on the list of teams that aviation enthusiasts have wanted to see at Oshkosh,” said Rick Larsen, EAA’s vice president of communities and member programs, who coordinates AirVenture features and attractions. “The team’s extended U.S. tour schedule fortunately allowed them to include AirVenture on their itinerary so they can be added to the legendary flight teams that have flown at Oshkosh. The Red Arrows are coming as part of an extended US tour tied to the so-called semiquincentennial. On top of AirVenture, the team will host a series of flyovers near DC to celebrate Independence Day. While anything beyond that remains unconfirmed, the jets are expected to make a couple more late-summer and autumn stops before turning homebound. The team’s AirVenture debut will come in its 62nd season. Since their first performances in 1965, the Red Arrows have performed nearly 5,000 displays in 57 countries, now with their nine-plane formation of British-built Hawk T1s. “The power to inspire through aviation is something felt by airshow crowds on both sides of the Atlantic and we’re hoping to meet countless individuals and families at these locations, as well as during a busy programme of ground engagement that fo
