HCR — Health Issues
Advance federal policies and funding to support the county departments which provide public health, mental health and health care services to its residents. Protect the Medicaid program and oppose cuts to Medicaid, including statutory Medicaid DSH cuts for FY2026-FY 2027. Support legislation and administrative action to ease the Medicaid IMD exclusion and Medicaid inmate exclusion. Budget reconciliation as it relates to health care policy.
