H.R.1777/S.1561 - Securing and Enabling Commerce Using Remote and Electronic Notarization Act. To authorize and establish minimum standards for electronic and remote notarizations that occur in or affect interstate commerce, to require any Federal court located in a State to recognize notarizations performed by a notary public commissioned by another State when the notarization occurs in or affects interstate commerce, and to require any State to recognize notarizations performed by a notary public commissioned by another State when the notarization occurs in or affects interstate commerce or when the notarization was performed under or relates to a public act, record, or judicial proceeding of the State in which the notary public was commissioned. Issues related to remote online notarization. H.R.2441 - Improving Disclosure for Investors Act - This bill requires the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) to propose and finalize rules to allow entities to deliver regulatory documents to investors electronically. The SEC must establish a mechanism for investors to opt out of electronic delivery and receive paper documents instead. If the SEC does not finalize rules within one year after enactment, the bill allows for electronic delivery of these documents. Issues related to electronic delivery. H.R.1013/S.424 - Retirement Fairness for Charities and Educational Institutions Act of 2025 - The bill would allow 403(b) plans to invest in Collective Investment Trusts or Separate Accounts that establishes investment parity with other defined contribution plans, like 401(k)s. Issues related to retirement security HR.2547/S.1335 - Secure Family Futures Act of 2025 Issues related to the reduction or elimination of state and local tax deductions for businesses.
